About us and our programme

We provide a warm and welcoming learning environment where children have opportunities to develop a wide range of skills and dispositions.

Respectful relationships with families and whānau are important to us, as well as building whanaungatanga, a sense of place, belonging and wellbeing.

We focus on supporting children to become socially confident and competent. Here children are able to explore, experiment, challenge and extend themselves as they deepen their interests.

Our teaching team weave Te Ao Māori into our programme, and encourage respect and value for each child’s unique contribution and cultural background. Children are encouraged to have positive attitudes towards themselves, each other and the environment.

Our programme reflects children’s interests, and supports them to deepen their thinking. Children are free to choose activities throughout the session.
