As we move through the winter months, our youngest learners have been celebrating the richness of culture and diversity in their communities. This edition highlights:

  • Matariki traditions – including the hands-on skill of Māra kai (gardening for food)

  • Pacific Language Weeks – brought to life through dance, song, food and celebration

  • Regional round-up – stories from kindergartens across South Otago to the Central Plateau

  • Updates on fees and funding – including important information about changes and what they mean for whānau

Whānau in our kindergarten communities are encouraged to reach out to their kindergarten, if paying fees has become too difficult - support is available.
