About us and our programme

At our kindergarten, children learn together, and we work in partnership with whānau. Families are always welcome and we encourage your involvement.

We celebrate all children’s learning. Our children grow into competent learners who are motivated, solve problems, follow their interests, and challenge themselves.

Te Tiriti o Waitangi, Te Ao Māori, and Te Reo Māori are important to us and we work together to deepen our understanding of these areas.

Paparārangi offers place-based education, which connects children with their community, creates awareness of the local environment and history and creates understanding and celebration of the community’s culture.

Our environment is stimulating, fun and encourages creativity, discovery and experimentation.

Our kindergarten is part of the Enviroschool movement and is committed to environmental sustainability.

All kaiako are qualified registered teachers who are committed to ongoing learning.
