About us and our programme

Our kindergarten sits behind the gumboot sculpture at the foot of Mount Stewart, and we have large attractive grounds.

We are an inclusive kindergarten where tamariki are safe and happy, and whānau from all cultures are welcomed and valued.

We are committed to the Treaty of Waitangi. We have a good relationship with local iwi, Mokai Patea, and a strong bicultural programme.

We provide a stimulating and fun environment where we encourage challenge, risk taking, exploration and creativity.

Children learn through play, and develop their interests, strengths and abilities at Taihape Kindergarten.
