About us and our programme

Paraparaumu Kindergarten is situated on the stunning Kapiti Coast. We place special importance on creating a welcoming environment and building nurturing relationships with our children and whānau.

Our kindergarten offers a free play programme and provides a range of opportunities for children to learn, gain knowledge, dispositions, skills and of course have fun.  We have a unique natural outdoor environment and a well-resourced indoor environment for children to explore the areas that interest them.

We have a strong focus on supporting children to develop kind, caring and respectful relationships.  We understand children’s diverse learning pathways and help them to build strong identities of themselves as competent and confident lifelong learners.

We use StoryPark as a way to document children’s learning and as a tool to communicate with you. In this changing world the teaching team is always looking to find innovative ways that support children on their learning journey.

We are open 8.45-2.45 Monday to Friday, and we welcome visits at any time, come and explore the environment with your children.
