About us and our programme

St Johns Hill Kindergarten has been part of the Whanganui community for over 60 years.

We take advantage of our location in the green area known as Kaiherau, near the croquet, bridge, harriers and cricket clubs.

We focus on gardening, growing vegetables and herbs, and recycling food scraps for the worm farm. We have an attractive outdoor space, with a large sandpit and space for gardens.

We celebrate and learn about the many different cultures that make up our kindergarten.

Our kindergarten receives great support from parents and the community, and has good relationships with local schools.
