About us and our programme

Miramar North Kindergarten is a fun, friendly, and welcoming place where children’s love of learning grows. We nurture the mana of every child and we respond to the holistic way in which children learn. At the heart of everything we do are the relationships we have with children, whānau and the wider community. 

Our curriculum empowers, inspires and provokes children to meaningfully lead their own learning individually, alongside and with the support of the teaching team, whānau and peers. Here children learn the skills, knowledge and dispositions to be lifelong learners and socially competent people.

Our large outdoor area is a fantastic asset and children have a variety of interesting spaces to explore. 

Our kindergarten is inclusive, responsive, respectful, and nurturing. We show Manaakitanga in our warm and welcoming environment. The diversity and unique qualities that every child brings to our curriculum are celebrated. We see ourselves as a community of learners and this is reflected in our teaching programme.
