About us and our programme
Te Manawanui Kindergarten in Shannon is based in the Shannon school grounds. We have a strong relationship with the school and participate in school and community events.
We are well-established in the community, we are affordable for all – we take children from age two, and everyone is offered 20 hours free.
We have a strong bi-cultural focus and have good relationships with our tangata whenua.
At Te Manawanui Kindergarten we are committed to supporting and caring for each other and developing relationships with community services.
We follow Te Whāriki, our national early childhood curriculum. We notice children’s interests and develop play-based opportunities to extend and foster their learning. This gives children confidence, and teaches them that learning is fun.
Our team is 100% qualified. Come and visit us anytime!
