About us and our programme

We are located at the foot of Mounga Taranaki, and delight in our natural environment. We have a large outdoor playground, with beautiful mature trees, as well as extensive edible gardens. Tamariki experience opportunities to explore, discover and create alongside their peers, supported by a team of professional, fully qualified teachers. We provide rich and varied learning experiences for children.

We respect and strive to support each child’s unique holistic learning, so we encourage parents and whānau to continue to be involved in their child’s early learning. We would like parents and whānau to feel that Avon Kindergarten is a place where they are valued and welcome.
